ICFM: XLR8 Conference
Summary
Every year, the International Convention of Faith Ministries holds their annual convention featuring speakers from around the nation, workshops, and community events. In 2018, ICFM hosted the 40th anniversary of this event and they went all out. Hosted in Fort Worth, Texas, the 40th year theme was XLR8 (pronounced “accelerate”). The client was determined to have bright images with plenty of movement and color. Our task was to find how to accomplish this in a way that simultaneously was clean design, maintained the theme, and brought a more modern look to a long-standing event.

A set of social media graphics were included to announce all of the upcoming event details including time, date, location, and the speaker line-up.
40 Years of ICFM
To help emphasize the 40th anniversary, embellished on all of the fliers and large print pieces was a 40 tag, styled to match the XLR8 branding, and in a light gray color so as not to compete with the conference content.
Signage & Tags
The branding package included signage for guests to navigate easily throughout the building as well as name tags for each guest.
Recorded speakers
Attendees were given the chance to purchase a recording of the convention speakers in the convenience of a CD to listen at home or to share with a friend.
Strong themes of purple, pink, and coral run throughout the convention artwork, materials, and lighting to keep a consistent brand. Light lines were also incorporated to enhance forward motion and the theme of “accelerate”.
Email Template
In addition to print materials and social media, a branded email template was also created to alert attendees of how to register, hotel information, schedules, weekend activities, and more.
