Focused Community Strategies: 2018 Annual Report
Summary
Focused Community Strategies is dedicated to creating thriving, flourishing neighborhoods, in areas such as South Atlanta, that support the current residents through economic development, training and consulting, mixed-income housing, and more all while giving the residents ownership and a role to play in their transformed community. In 2018, FCS celebrated their 40th anniversary by highlighting the people who make FCS what it is. This book is a toned down, mature version of the FCS brand with large images and simple graphics and only the occasional splash of the bright FCS branded colors.

Focused Community Strategies is immersed in the community of South Atlanta and is devoted to empowering the members and long-standing icons within the neighborhood to work to revitalize their city and to secure a prosperous future.
In celebration of a monumental year, FCS chose to focus in on what really sets their community apart: the residents and team members that work closely together in order to improve South Atlanta every day.
The theme “Established Together” is both a crown jewel of what FCS is all about and a reflection of how they have gotten where they are. Woven together with photos, quotes, statistics, and interviews, the book is a testament to all FCS has accomplished in South Atlanta in partnership with the people of South Atlanta.
Throughout the booklet, FCS wanted to highlight all of the community events and displayed photos from their 40th Anniversary Celebration.
The main features of the annual report are the real-life conversations between community members, neighbors and local employees about neighborhood pride, current businesses, and potential future opportunities.

Remittance Card
Included with the annual report is a remittance card. This was tucked into the envelope and encouraged the readers to join with their many other donors to support FCS in their work to help the South Atlanta community flourish.
